Welcome to planDisney, Derek! It is never too early to begin thinking about planning your next Disney Vacation!
My family and I were fortunate enough to spend Christmas Day at Walt Disney World Resort a couple of years ago. A Disney vacation is always magical, but the
holiday season brings a whole new level of magic! There are beautiful decorations everywhere you look, holiday carols playing, special seasonal treats and goodies, and holiday shows and entertainment. It truly is
"The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!"Holidays, including Christmas Day, are popular times to visit Disney Parks. Although this year's holiday season may be a bit different than usual, generally on holidays the parks have long
operating hours from early morning until late at night. A handful of locations might be closed for refurbishment on any given day, but for the most part on Christmas Day all
attractions,
shops, and
dining locations will be open. We chose to spend Christmas Day at
Magic Kingdom Park. We found crowds relatively light first thing in the morning, although the park did get much busier mid-day into the evening.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to visit planDisney again as often as you like. We'll be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
