Are there art lessons my 6 year old daughter could participate in somewhere on property?

Hi there, Shannon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

There are actually a couple of artistic opportunities that your daughter may be interested in participating in! The first one takes place at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Painting by the Lagoon is designed for younger Guests six years of age and older and all participants must be accompanied by an adult. During this experience, Guests will learn how to paint a special themed piece of art and test out their skills!

The other offering takes place at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and teaches Guests how to draw some of their favorite Disney Characters! If you and your daughter end up participating in the drawing class at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, I highly recommend setting aside time to explore this immersive Disney Resort hotel! The main lobby is decorated with gorgeous Disney animation sketches and could easily be perused for hours. If you find yourself hungry after your explorations, I would suggest popping into the Landscape of Flavors dining area that specializes in fresh, made-to-order food. There are actually five distinct food shops that you and your daughter can choose from which means that you can find specific foods that both of you will love!

I hope you and your daughter have fun exploring your inner artists during your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
