Will the Art of Animation hotel be excluded from future free dining plan offers? We are planning a trip to WDW in October 2012 and are hoping to catch a free dining plan.

    Hi Pamela,

That's a tough question. I did see that the brand new Art of Animation resort was excluded from the most recent free dining offer. As to whether this will remain a consistent policy, there's really no way to tell.

My personal guess is that Disney feels like because the allure of a new resort is enticing for many guests, they don't need a special offer to incent folks to stay there.  Once the newness factor fades (again, my guess only), AoA will be included in promotions such as free dining. As to when (or whether) that might occur is anyone's guess.

In the meantime, if you're interested in booking a family suite with free dining, you can do that at the All Star Music resort.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need additional help.
