    Will be arriving at WDW 12/29/2013 to 1/3/2013. .Are there any special activities going on for New Years at any of the parks? . Will all of the Christmas decorations still be up then?

    Hi Tommy,

    What a great time of the year to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resorts! It is extra magical this time of the year.

    You will still get to see all of the Christmas decorations as the process of taking them down will not begin until after the new year begins. My favorite park at the holidays is Epcot because they have Holidays Around the World. Here each country shows how they celebrate the winter season. Each is unique and different.

    As for New Year's Eve, the parks will celebrate. I was in Magic Kingdom one year and they had a special fireworks show. You can check your resort for other New Year Eve celebrations happening at the parks and the resorts.
