Arriving in WDW November. We will be 6 adults and 2 children, & I'm having a hard time choosing where to make dinner reservations. We know we definitely want to do the HoopDeeDoo, other than that I'm coming up blank. Any suggestions for the other 5?

    Hi Francis,

Dining reservations are always such a personal choice and I often find guests differ on opinions even on the best restaurants. Even over time, my opinion has changed on some of my favorite restaurants. For example, Le Cellier was a family favorite until this past December. While the meal was fine and service was good, we found the price was not worth it. My family all agreed that for about $30 more, we had much better meals at California Grill and the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

I would talk to the other six adults and the children, depending on their age, and ask them their thoughts on dinner. I would look at restaurants in or close to the park you are touring for that particular day. For example, Magic Kingdom has limited table service restaurants. Be Our Guest and Crystal Palace our my favorite. Cinderella's Royal Table is nice as a treat because of the experience however it has a limited menu. Most days when we are at Magic Kingdom we head to a resort for dinner. We like the Wave, California Grill, Whispering Canyon Cafe or 1900 Park Fare to dine.

Epcot has many great restaurants in the World Showcase and nearby on the Boardwalk or at Yacht and Beach Club. When we travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios, we generally eat at the Boardwalk area unless we are doing the Fantasmic Dining Package! We do like 50's Prime Time Cafe.

Animal Kingdom's Tusker House is great for breakfast and look to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for Boma or Jiko! The Cooking Place. Downtown Disney also offers great dining options.

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is fun for everyone. Fried chicken, ribs, beans, salad and strawberry shortcake make this a family favorite. I love it for a special treat while on vacation!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
