We are arriving at WDW - DVC Bay Tower May 2017. If one member of party cancels last minute and their dining plan is already paid for, will those credits be available for use by other members on the reservation?

    Welcome Justina!

It is great to have you back with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As the Disney Parks vacation planner for my large, extended family, I understand completely that sometimes getting everyone on the same page can be difficult. If you discover that someone from your group will not join you in your stunning Disney Vacation Club Villa in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you do have a couple of options.

First, if you have at least 48-hours notice, you can simply contact DVC Member Services at 800-800-9800 or through the convenient Chat option on the DVC Member Website to remove the Guest from your reservation. They will then refund the amount paid for when you enhanced your vacation with the Disney Dining Plan.

The second option is to leave your reservation as it stands. The entitlements for the Disney Dining Plan are essentially attached to your Resort reservation, rather that to individual Guests. This means that your family and friends that are able to join in on the fun can use the Disney Dining Plan credits simply by paying with any MagicBand that is associated with the Disney Vacation Club Resort stay.

I hope that helps clear up any confusion, Justina! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We are here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

Meet the Panelist: Sally, Texas

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." I am the lucky wife to my brave Prince and a stay-at-home mom to two bold and brilliant little girls; one a Jedi Padawan and the other a Princess. Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
