We will be arriving at WDW on Christmas. I have had weightloss surgery. On the dinning plan, can I share a meal or do i have a o order my own? I would hate to waste food.

Hi Pamela! What a magical Christmas you'll have this year!

The Disney Dining Plan does give you a lot of food for your money, so even those of us who haven't had weight-loss surgery often feel like we can't eat all the food provided. At the counter-service locations, it's generally not a problem for guests to share a meal.   At buffets, fixed-price, or all-you-can-eat meals, sharing of meals is not permitted, whether you are on the Dining Plan or paying out-of-pocket.  At table-service restaurants, the official Disney policy prohibits sharing meals on the Dining Plan. However, sometimes guests report that they have been allowed to share a meal and pay with only one table-service credit. I recommend that you tell your server that you're unable to eat a large meal due to your surgery and ask if you could share a meal with another member of your party instead. Disney wants its guests to be happy, and the cast members try very hard to be accommodating.
