    Will be arriving at wdw on August 1 through 10. Staying at all sports resort. arriving at orl at 10:45 am was wondering what online checkin is for could we get to room earlier. and also what to do for day it will be me my mom and son who is 12 any ideas?

    Hi Patricia. I highly recommend using the online check-in. Basically, you will provide all of your information in advance, thus dramatically reducing the wait time at check-in. Upon arrival, head straight to the specially marked online check-in registration desk. Cast members will do their very best to put you in a room as early as one is available.

    You're there early enough you could have a considerable amount of time in a theme park, especial the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, which are both open later. On August 1, the Magic Kingdom is open until 10 pm, Epcot is open until 9pm, Hollywood Studios until 7 pm and the Animal Kingdom until 6 pm.

    For us, our first day usually involves significant travel time and a painfully early morning, so we usually forego a park and spend some time exploring our resort. After that, we like to head to Downtown Disney, where we do a bit of shopping and enjoy a nice dinner. Then we hit the ground running the next morning!
