Hello. We will be arriving for our vacation at WDW on Sept. 4, 2011. My husband is super sensitive to the sun.. He will be wearing long sleeves and pants while we are there. But I was wondering what the temp. is around that time of year in Fla.? Thanks

Hi! Make sure the long-sleeve shirts and long pants are lightweight, because the temperatures in Florida in early September are still quite summer-like. Average highs in September are in the low 90s, with evening temperatures averaging in the low 70s. You can get the exact forecast a week or so before your trip by typing Disney World into the search box at weather.com.

Since you're husband is sensitive to the sun, plan to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours in the parks. This extra park time just for Disney resort guests occurs early in the morning or late in the evening and will help your family avoid the sun and the crowds. During the week you're there, a few of the parks are hosting Extra Magic Hours until 1 a.m. so you'll have plenty of sun-free time in the parks.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
