Hi Michael! Thanksgiving dinner at the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like a great way to celebrate the holiday! I love that you’re seeking the “taste” of Thanksgiving while on vacation!
The best place to find Thanksgiving dinner is at either
Liberty Tree Tavern or
The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom Park! These neighboring restaurants share the same menu, including all-you-care-to-enjoy roast turkey, pot roast, smoked pork loin, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb stuffing, and mac and cheese. At Liberty Tree Tavern, this meal is called the Patriot’s Platter. Next door at The Diamond Horseshoe, it is the Saloon Feast. You can call it by either name. I’ll call it delicious! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so I love this meal any time of year. Be sure to save some room during this all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience because the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake is the dessert served at both restaurants! It is one of my favorite desserts in all of Disney World!
Michael, Liberty Tree Tavern and The Diamond Horseshoe are in high demand at Thanksgiving. For the best chance at securing a reservation, I recommend making your dining reservations 60 days in advance at 6:00 AM.
Regarding the crowds at
Disney Springs, it is fairly common to find heavier crowds just about anywhere at Disney World during holidays or when schools are closed for extended periods (such as Thanksgiving break). It is a safe bet to assume that crowds will be particularly high the day after Thanksgiving as shoppers head out to Disney Springs to find the perfect gifts for the holiday season!
Dreams do come true!
