John, I believe the
2-Day, 2-Park Ticket you’re holding might be a special promotional ticket that includes one day at EPCOT and one day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If so, because it’s a specially priced offer, I wouldn’t go into your trip expecting that the value of the second unused admission can be applied toward a different 1-day ticket.
Now, that being said, I would absolutely ask before giving up on the idea! Ticket situations can get pretty specific, and a Cast Member can actually take a look at your ticket and let you know exactly what options are available to you. I’d reach out to Disney before that second admission expires, explain what you’re hoping to do, and see if there’s any magic they can work for you.
