Disney World around the holidays is pure magic! It’s my absolute favorite time to visit, and I’m so excited that you’ll get to experience it this year!
While some holiday decorations will start going up at Magic Kingdom right after Halloween ends, the parks and resorts are slowly decorated over the month of November.
Disney Parks Blog has shared that this year’s official holiday season at Disney World will run from November 14 through December 31, 2025.
At this time, there have been no announcements regarding when
Wilderness Lodge will be decorated specifically. But, I did a little digging! It looks like it’s usually decorated in mid-November, and last year, it was decorated right around November 20th. Of course, that date varies each year, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the tree goes up in time for your trip!
Of course, even if the tree isn’t up in time, there will still be plenty of decor and festive activities to enjoy
around the theme parks and
at Disney Springs.
If you’re really hoping to get into the holiday spirit, you can consider attending one of the holiday parties. On select nights, Magic Kingdom hosts
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Hollywood Studios hosts
Jollywood Nights. Tickets are on sale now if you're interested in attending!
I went to Jollywood Nights last year and absolutely loved it! This year, I’ll be attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time with my boys, and I just know we’re going to have the best time.
