Arriving 7/30/12 staying at the Polynesian. Several sources recommend arriving at the parks 50 minutes before official opening time. Traveling with 3 & 5 year old. How much time do I allot for travel from hotel to each of the parks?

Hi Kristen! The Polynesian resort is a tropical paradise! I'm all about getting to the parks for opening time - it's one of my must do tips, but, especially given the ages of your children, I don't recommend getting there that early. We usually aim for 15 minutes prior, which is plenty of time. I'm always amazed at how much we get done in the early morning hours!

It will take you just over 10 minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom by boat, 20 minutes to Epcot and to the Hollywood Studios and 25 minutes to the Animal Kingdom.

Write back with any other questions Kristen! Wishing you a magical vacation!
