Hi Lisa,
How exciting! I bet you have a lifetime of magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm thrilled for you that you'll be visiting again SOON with your adult kiddos. Enjoy celebrating your favorite Disney traditions, and I hope you have a BLAST discovering new favorites, too!
If your kiddos will already be enjoying a day at
Magic Kingdom Park with their
Park Hopper Option tickets, I'm happy to let you know that they won't need to exit the park to enjoy the party festivities that evening. They'll see Cast Members throughout the late afternoon within the park where they'll be able to scan their
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets and pick up their wristbands. You're right that party Guests have been allowed entrance as early as 4:00 p.m., so there will be a mix of day Guests and party Guests for a few hours. After Magic Kingdom Park closes at 6:00 p.m. to day Guests, though, that wristband will become essential, and only Guests with it will be allowed access to the attractions. Once your Mouseketeers have it, though, they'll be able to enjoy all of the frightfully fantastic festivities! Be sure to encourage them to check out the incredible all-new
fireworks show and my very
favorite part of the evening,
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your trip. I hope that you and your entire family have a truly magical vacation together!
Missy
