We are arriving on my son's 10th birthday. We will be staying at the campground at Fort Wilderness. What are some suggestions for a birthday dinner celebration for a 10 year old boy. I plan to order a cake for where ever we decide.

Hi there, Teresa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Happy (Early) Birthday to your son! There's no better place to celebrate such a momentous occasion than Walt Disney World Resort! I, personally, will use any special occasion as an excuse to visit so this is a strategy I highly recommend!

There are many different dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort that I'm sure your son would love! Hopefully, I can help narrow your options down a bit with some of my well-researched advice! Dining show experiences are always a go-to suggestion of mine whenever Guests are looking for an extra special dinner. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is actually located right where you are staying at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This classic dinner show features good, old-fashioned family fun in the form of dancing, singing, and comedy. Guests will also dine on all-you-care-to-enjoy southern favorites like fried chicken and BBQ pork ribs! If you're looking for a different setting, I would recommend looking into Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. This luau takes place at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and features Polynesian dancing with show-stopping performers. Guests are also treated to a family-style feast filled with various tropical delights!

In addition, both of the dining locations I suggested also offer Cake Delivery! This means that you may also have a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake or a custom-created cake delivered right to either of these locations and surprise your son!

Hopefully, this has given you a couple of ideas for your son's upcoming celebration at Walt Disney World Resort!
