We are arriving in sept. We have the free quick service dining plan. My 11 year old will be on the adult meal plan. However she often prefers the items on the children's menu. Can she order items from this menu and would they perhaps increase the portions?

Hi Lauren!  September will be a great time to visit Walt Disney World, the crowds will be low and the weather practically perfect.   I hope you have a magical time with your family.

I have found that Disney is very accommodating when it comes to dining.  I have traveled with very picky tweens before and they were able to order an item from the children's menu, but the portion size was adjusted to be more fit for an adult.   Just last week my husband was even able to ask for the children's dessert at a Disney Dining location and they scaled it to meet his man size appetite.

Lauren, we would love to continue to help you out as you plan your pixie-dusted getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth.  If you have any additional questions don't hesitate to ask.

    Happy Disney Dining,

    ~Jen
