Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We will be arriving on Sept 30 for 5 days with park hopper and watr park tickets. We are staying at Wilderness Villas. Does it make sense for us to take a taxi to and from the water parks which we will visit 2 afternoons?

    Hi Alice! How exciting your Disney vacation is almost here! Wilderness Lodge is a fantastic resort in the perfect location, a quick boat ride to the Magic Kingdom! We are a huge water park family, so I'm excited to hear you'll be doing both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon!

    As a guest of a Disney resort, you'll enjoy free transportation to all theme and water parks and Downtown Disney from your resort, so there's really no need for a taxi. The bus ride to both water parks will take about 20 minutes from Wilderness Lodge. The ride should be a bit quicker by cab, as you would eliminate the wait times. Buses also run from the theme parks to the water parks and vice versa, should you decide to go directly there.
