We are arriving by private plane @ Kissimmee Airport I will have 2- 4 year olds that will need car seats. What are my options of transportation to our Walt Disney Resort Hotel. There will be 5 adults and the 2 children.

Hi, Sally! This is such a great question, so I am glad you brought it to us! Arriving at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport will put you super close to all of the magic. I personally have never utilized this airport, so I did a bit of detective work for you this afternoon. While the most adorable way of arriving at and departing from your resort hotel is only available with the Orlando International Airport, I have some other options to share with you to help you get the magic started.

If you would like to have a vehicle available to you during your stay at Walt Disney World Resort, then you are welcome to rent a vehicle at the airport. There is an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location directly outside the main offices at Kissimmee Gateway Airport. I did a quick search on their website and see that they are able to offer mini-vans with room for seven or more passengers, as well as larger SUVs with room for eight passengers. If you do have room in your airplane, then I highly recommend you bring along car seats for your children. However, if you are running short on space, then Enterprise Rent-A-Car usually has car seat rental options available. You will need to confirm this when completing your rental in advance.

If you prefer to not rent a car and will be using complimentary Disney transportation during your stay, then there are a couple of other options that I can think of for you. Rideshare services, such as Uber or Lyft, may not be an option unless you would like to split your group into two vehicles. When using rideshare services, you will need to make sure to bring along car seats. Another option for your group is to book full-size van or limousine service. There are many great companies in Orlando who provide such vehicles and can be found with a quick internet search. I personally have used Happy Limo and Quicksilver Tours & Transportation before and have always been happy with their services. In my experience, they are able to provide car seats upon request.

I hope this information helps you plan a magical arrival at Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
