Will be arriving at the Polynesian midday and will want lunch, but arrival time is unknown. Is it hard to get in to Kona Cafe for lunch without reservations? Does the meal plan work the morning we leave or will we need to pay for breakfast out of pocket?

    Hi, Jennifer!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I totally understand the challenge of the unknown when you put together a plan for a visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

Once you arrive, you can stop by Kona Cafe and see if there are any open tables. But if not, you can snag a meal that is right next to the cafe at Kona Island. You don't need a reservation but you can enjoy delicious food from a smaller menu that is mainly sushi. I had an unplanned meal there once and loved it. You can also snag some delicious Quick Service food at Capt. Cook's.

When it comes to using your Disney Dining Plan meal credits, if you have remaining credits on your final day in town, you will be able to use the plan for breakfast. The number of food credits you have is based on the number of days you stay in your resort. Each time you purchase a meal, you'll be able to see how many credits are left!

I hope those tips help you plan our your visit! Let me know if I can help with any extra questions!
