Arriving at POLY by 5:45pm, we have dinner at Chef Mickey, 7:45. Based on estimated travel times, is there enough time to check into the hotel, travel to Boardwalk to get pictures in front of Buzz & Mr. Potato Head then get to Mickey in time for dinne

    Hi Greg,

I think you may be a bit confused. The Boardwalk is a hotel with some shops and restaurants, but no character experiences. Buzz and Mr. Potato Head can be found in or near the Toy Story Midway Mania ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which is near, but not at, the Boardwalk.

In any case, you wouldn't really have enough time to do what you're proposing. It would likely take you about 45 minutes to get from the Polynesian to the inside of Hollywood Studios. Even then, you would likely have to wait 45 minutes to an hour (or more) to get into the ride where Mr. Potato Head is. (This part of the long wait could be avoided if you arrived earlier in the day.) And then it would take another 45 minutes to get back to the Poly or Contemporary.

You could possible pop into the Magic Kingdom for a few minutes on your way to the Contemporary for dinner, but other than that, I would plan to stick close to "home" before your meal.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have more questions.
