I would celebrate your nieces birthday with a character meal at Chef Mickey's! This is a great restaurant for a birthday celebration. You can have a character dinner there on your first night in Orlando or start the first full day of your Disney vacation with a character breakfast and birthday celebration. Chef Mickey's is located inside the Contemporary Resort. It is a very lively restaurant and the characters you will meet there include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. I would recommend bringing a birthday card for the characters to sign, it makes for a great souvenir.
