I will be arriving to Orlando around 3:30pm on February 16. If i go the Magic Kingdom after 5pm is it worth it?

Hey there Jairo and welcome to planDisney. Can you believe it? You will begin you Disney vacation in 5 days! Are you packed? Do not worry, you have plenty of time.

Whether to go into a Disney theme park when you will have reduced time to enjoy all the attractions is a personal preference. I think it depends on:

    I ask these questions because:

    • As an Annual Passholder, I would go to the theme park and do as much as I could that night.
    • If it is my only day then I definitely would go for the abbreviated time
    • I prefer at least ten hours so I would look for another day to go. Ten hours allows me to move at a pace that is just right for me and not feel rushed.
    • If attractions are important and you have a dining reservation, the dining experience will take about 45-60 minutes of the limited time inside the theme park and I recommend canceling it.
    • Guests at select hotels get Early Theme Park Entry as well as direct theme park transportation.  Also, when available, Guests of Disney Resorts Collection Deluxe hotels and other select hotels have Extended Evening Theme Park Hours access (not available on February 16, 2024).
    • I like to visit Disney Springs at night for the Streetmosphere, shopping, and dining.

Jairo, I hope this line of thinking helps guide your decision. It is a tough one because Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite and I just like being there, walking around. Crazy enough, I do not even have to ride an attraction. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
