    Hi...arriving 9/28/09 & one member of our party of 4 will be using a electric scooter which has already been reserved from a company in Orlando. Will be staying at All Star Sports & just wondering how difficult it will be to use the buses . Thanks

    Hi Mary,

    All Disney buses are equipped for wheelchairs and scooters so you'll be fine. Buses can normally hold 2 scooters and load via the back doors, they are loaded first along with the rest of the party. Some buses require the scooter to be reversed on so it may be a good idea to practise some reversing before you get to the bus. Some resorts ask guests in wheelchairs/scooters to wait in a different queue area so be sure to check when you arrive at your resort.

    If you haven't done so already I would advise you have it noted on your resort reservation that you will have a scooter so you can be given a ground floor room to make things easier for you.
