We will be arriving on November 17th and leaving on the 24th (Thanksgiving Day). Do you know if they will be offering the free dining plan at that time. We are thinking that we might save money by not using the dining plan this time.

    Hi Shirley,

We have had no information about a free Disney Dining Plan being offered for the dates you mention.

While anything is possible with Disney, I certainly would not plan on a free dining package being offered at that time. Historically, when free dining has been offered, this has happened earlier in the fall. I personally would be shocked if Disney offered free dining during a week that included a major holiday.

For a good analysis of the cost/benefits of free dining, you may want to listen to episode 619 of the WDW Today podcast (available on iTunes). They provide lots of great information on this topic.

    Good luck with your planning.
