We are arriving on a Mon and checking out on Sat. We have park hoppers for 5 days. We were planning to go Mon-Fri. Do I need to check in at the hotel before the magic bands will work or can we go straight to the parks first then go to the hotel later?

    Hi Kylie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question. On two separate Walt Disney World vacations, we visited the theme parks before going to our Disney Resort hotel. I was able to use my MagicBand to enter Epcot since I had linked my theme park ticket in My Disney Experience. As a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I also received complimentary parking that same day. The Cast Member was able to scan my MagicBand to see I was staying at a Disney Resort hotel. I recommend doing online check-in prior to your arrival. With that being said, you should definitely be able to go straight to the parks on the day of arrival before going to your Disney Resort hotel.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Kylie!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
