We'll be arriving at MCO around 10:30am with a 6 and 2 year old. We're staying at POFQ for 4 nights, and I'm wondering if it's worth buying park tickets for that first day or just go swimming and have a nice dinner.

    Greetings Geeta!

How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for 4 nights with your little ones! You are going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. If you feel like you will have ample time to experience everything on your  "must do" list on the following days, I would recommend that you get settled in, explore the recreational activities at your resort, enjoy a relaxing dinner and get to bed early.  Based on my own personal experience with my four children, I have never planned to visit a park on our arrival day so that we can get to bed early and start the following day refreshed and ready to hit the parks first thing in the morning.

I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Geeta!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
