    Arriving 5/16, have lunch@Mama Mel at 2:00, hope this is Fantasmic package, though not sure yet. If we have 7:35 res at Whispering Canyon, can we make it to Fantasmic show that night? What is travel time to DS from WL?

    Hi!

    Since there are two Fantasmic! shows on May 16th (at 9pm and 10:30pm), I'd say that you'd be able to make the later show without too much of a scheduling conflict.

    In general, I try to schedule about an hour each way for travel from a resort to park. It often is much shorter, but I like to be safe - just in case a bus is running late or is particularly crowded. I also budge between an hour and an hour & a quarter per sit-down meal. This way, I'm not feeling rushed or pressured to move on to our next activity if I'd like to have dessert or a coffee after my meal.

    So, with that in mind, I'd say that by 9pm (at the latest) you'd be back on your way to the Studios. This should give you time to get into the late show of Fantasmic!

    Although, I am going to mention - I'm not a huge fan of traveling quite so far right in the middle of a park day. I find that once our family has arrived at the parks, its nearly impossible to drag them away - even for a great restaurant!
