Arriving late Wed. evening and considering Boardwalk for dinner and to view EPCOT show. Only 1 restaurant (Bakery) states Dining Plan. Others state: N/A or up to 2: does this mean if they are not busy they will honor plan & can decide if it is 2 cre

    Hi Christine,

Being from Massachusetts I know that you are counting the days to warmer weather in Florida and getting away from all that snow.  The Boardwalk area is one of my favorite places to spend an evening.

I just took a peek at the Disney Dining Plan Guide, and there are several restaurants in that area that will accepts the Dining Plan.  You may choose from the following using one table service credit;  Big River Grille and Brewing Works, ESPN Club and Trattoria al Forno.  For two table service credits you may feast at the Flying Fish Cafe.

I've dined at all of these restaurants except for Trattoria Al Forno and can highly recommend any one of them.  My favorite, though, is Big River Grille and Brewing Works.  I love the atmosphere of sitting outside and taking in the view and sampling their great selection of beer flights.  The meat loaf on their menu is to die for and the portion is enough for two people to share.

Just so you are aware, you can partially view the fireworks from the Illuminations show at Epcot from the overlook bridge connecting Disney's Boardwalk and Disney 's Beach Club Resort, but you will be unable to see the ground show.

I hope you found this information helpful and thank you for visiting the Moms Panel.

    Be Magical,
