We are arriving late on Nov 6th, and purchased a Mickey's Christmas Party ticket for Nov 8th and a 5 day Disney world with park hopper option! Can we use our Christmas party ticket for park access for the 8th, then start our 5 day pass on the 9th?

    Hi Daniel,

It sure sounds like you're planning an AMAZING vacation to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" I'm super excited for you!

You are going to LOVE Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! With low wait times for your favorite attractions, complimentary snacks and treats, special holiday shows, snow on Main Street U.S.A., the all-new Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, and my very favorite part of the entire evening, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, the entire evening will fill your hearts with Christmas joy and leave you with a big smile on your face. While this is always subject to change and I'd encourage you to check with Cast Members to see if this is possible, in the past, Guests have been able to enter Magic Kingdom park as early as 4:00 p.m. with only a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket even though the event itself runs from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. If you want to visit any other theme parks or enter Magic Kingdom park earlier than that, though, you'll need to use one of your days on your five-day Park Hopper Option ticket

Did you know that your theme park ticket days don't need to be consecutive? If you wanted to visit a theme park on the 7th, then use your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets on the 8th, and switch back to using your Park Hopper Option ticket again on the 9th, you can definitely do that. Or, if you'd prefer to wait to use your Park Hopper Option tickets until the 9th, just be sure to check their expiration dates because you'll only have eight days to use your five theme park days after their assigned start date unless you've purchased the Flexible Date Option, which extends your expiration date out to fourteen days after their start date. If you purchased your tickets as part of a Disney Resort Hotel package, it's possible that their start date is the 6th. Your start date can be changed, though, so feel free to do so if it works better for your plans.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Daniel, and please come see us again with any other questions you may have as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
