Hi Dawn,
Your vacation is just around the corner and I bet you are getting super excited. If you have not already made your
advanced dining reservations, I highly recommend checking out what is available and securing a few dining experiences.
There are two ways that you can have room requests added to your reservation. The easiest way to add a room request is through the online check-in process. Disney's
Direct-to-Room Service is one of my favorite things about staying at a Disney resort hotel. Through this service, you can check in online either through the My Disney Experience app or on disneyworld.com with your MyDisney account login. When you arrive there is no need to go to the front desk. You just head straight to your room and get immersed in the magic. Your phone or
MagicBand+ will be your room key. During the online check-in process, you will utilize a drop-down menu for room requests. Last time I stayed at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, the options that I could choose from were the '50s section, '70s section, King Bed, and ground floor. These options may have changed since then but will likely be similar.
If you do not see the requests you are looking for during online check-in, the best option is to call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line and speak directly with a cast member. They will be able to add more specific room requests to your reservation. Keep in mind that a room request is just a request and not a reservation. It will not be guaranteed but they will do their best to accommodate you.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
