We are arriving on June 9. We are interested in the Fantasmic Dining Package, however, there is no availability for any of the restaurants at any of the times. It does not appear to have been released. How long does it typically take to release times?

Oh boy! Welcome to planDisney, Christine, and thanks for stopping by with this "fantasmic" question. My family loves booking dining packages for events and entertainment because we can relax knowing we have a seat at the show. Let's look at how advance reservations work for this experience at Walt Disney World Resort.

Fantasmic! Dining Packages are available for booking 60 days in advance to all guests, so I double-checked the booking calendar. As of today, packages are available through June 7, so I recommend you try again over the next few days. You're a little early now, but once that booking window opens for June 9, you should be able to make any reservation for the length of your visit if you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel.

I reached out to a helpful Cast Member who said that Fantasmic! has mysteriously, and hopefully temporarily, disappeared from their early June calendar. She said that could indicate that it's going to close for refurbishment or to give Mickey a vacation! So keep checking that calendar even if you don't see availability right away. I'm wishing on a star that the show will go on during your visit.

Disney's Hollywood Studios has so much to offer, but my favorite spot is Toy Story Land. My husband and I enjoy riding Slinky Dog Dash and yelling, "Hang on!" at the top of our lungs with Slinky. Do we embarrass our son? Absolutely! And while you're there, stop by Woody's Lunch Box for the Plant-Based Totchos. It's the perfect lunchtime bite.

Christine, I hope you're able to watch Sorcerer Mickey navigate his dreams on your visit. I know you'll have a magical time! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
