Hi! We will be arriving in July and are currently booked for the Boardwalk Inn (11 year old twins, myself and my husband). I was thinking of switching to the Beach Club...pros and cons for either? Dining, travel time, pools? Thanks!

    Hi Dusty!

I've stayed at both the Boardwalk and Disney's Beach Club Resorts, so I can offer some insight to help you out!

In regards to travel time, you will find the travel time to the parks is essentially the same for both Beach Club and Boardwalk. They are both within walking distance to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You also have the option of taking the boat launch to both parks. You can take the complimentary bus transportation to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.

Both of these resorts are gorgeous and offer the benefit of being on the Boardwalk, which is filled with excellent restaurants, fun entertainment and a view of Illuminations from the bridge.

Beach Club is my favorite Disney Resort because of the amazing pool. They have the best pool throughout all of Disney World, as they have sand in the bottom of the pool, making it feel like you are at the beach. I also love the theme at Beach Club and the smell in the lobby. You will also be next door to Beaches & Cream, which is home to the Kitchen Sink Sundae!

You will be in good hands no matter which resort you choose!

    Magically,
    Stacy
