We are arriving on July 24 and want to take advantage of the Extra morning hour at Animal Kingdom what time should we arrive at the Wilderness lodge to check in and still take advantage of the 8:00 am opening at Animal Kingdom?

Hey Scott!  The earlier the better if you are trying to make the 8 AM opening.  I would suggest anywhere between 5:30 and 6 AM.  That gives you plenty of time to get checked in, drop off luggage and catch the bus to AK.  Make sure you take advantage of the early morning hours on the safari, we always seem to see so many more animals in the cooler parts of the day.
Thanks for the great question, and I hope you have a magical WDW vacation.  Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel.
