Arriving on Halloween, 2013 from Disney Dream. Not interested in MK Halloween Party. Only have 2.5 days to spend. Advice on Halloween afternoon/evening to avoid the craziness? Want to get to MK at some point. Best day for that Fri or Sat? 1st time!!!

    Hi Kerri!

It sounds like you are planning a wonderful trip! And a few days after your cruise at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot will be the perfect ending to your magical time!

Personally, I would recommend visiting Epcot during Halloween day. The park is currently scheduled to be open until 9pm, so you should have plenty of time to explore and top off a great day with Illuminations. On Saturday, head over to the Magic Kingdom as early as you can. The crowd will be the least crowded early in the morning AND you'll have a full day to enjoy the park. There is so much to see and do, you'll definitely want to have a list of "must-do" attractions and tackle those first thing!

Since the Magic Kingdom will be closing at 7pm on for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you may have time (and hopefully the energy) to finish off your evening at Downtown Disney on Saturday night.

Hope this helps! Enjoy your 1st time trip to Walt Disney World!
