We are arriving in Florida May 8 2011 10:48 am and have reservations at asmusic have dining reservations at chef mickey for 745pm, we have a 19 month and 4 year old. Do you think this will be too much for them, and how long does a chef mickey meal take?

    Hi Jonathan,

I know it would be too much for my daughters now and they are 12 and 14. I figure you must be getting up for an 8:00 am flight which means early rising. Then a full day of activities makes for a long day. However, you have to know your children.

The dinner at Chef Mickey's takes about an hour. If you are seated on time, you can expect to leave no sooner than 9:00 pm. You then need to travel back to your resort. If you are on Disney transportation, you will need to go to the Magic Kingdom to catch a bus. Your bus ride could be almost 25 minutes plus there is the wait for the bus as well.

How will your children be the next day? If they will be tired, you may want to switch your reservation to earlier - late lunch or move it to a day you are touring Magic Kingdom.

My family generally chills at the resort and heads to bed early the first night so we are fresh to tour the parks the next day.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
