We are arriving the first week in Nov for seven nights at Wilderness Lodge. My daughter and her family are arriving one day after we arrive, When I made the reservations I requested adjoining rooms. How should I handle this request are we get closer.

    chEARs Richard!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I know you are going to have a Magical time at Walt Disney World with your family, we love when we visit with the grandparents! You have also picked a fantastic Resort hotel. My favorite thing about Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is it’s location to Magic Kingdom Park. A quick ten-minute boat ride and you are at the Main Entrance!

Since you already made your request for adjoining rooms at the time of reservation, the best thing to do is call a few days before you leave and reiterate your request. It also might help to remind the Front Desk when you check in. Even though Cast Members will do their best to sprinkle Pixie Dust on your request, remember that a request is not guaranteed. And if you aren’t able to have your daughter next door, I’m sure they’ll try to get you as close as possible!

While you are at the Resort, take advantage of Reunion Station, a Disney Vacation Club Member-exclusive space where you can unwind and relax. They have a variety of workshops that are educational and entertaining! They range from an Animation Workshop to a Tasting Series. My daughter and I are eyeing the Cake Decorating Workshop for our next visit!

Richard, I wish you a vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
