We are arriving on 3-3-2011 on our first family vacation to Disney World! Our plane arrival time is 3:30 pm -staying at Beach Club. Please advise a good dinner reservation to make for that evening (time and place). We have the standard dining plan. :)

Hi Colleen, You are going to love the Beach Club Resort! It is my favorite resort at Walt Disney World! Advance dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or visiting www.DisneyWorld.com to make them online. My favorite restaurant to begin our vacation with is 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. 'Ohana can be challenging to get into so I would advise you to try as soon as possible. The atmosphere is a lot of fun here and the food is simply amazing! It is a great value to use one of your dining credits on as it is an "all you can eat" restaurant! You can check out the menu on the unofficial site allearsnet.com. You can go out to the beach at the Polynesian after dinner and watch the Electrical Water Pageant at 9:00 p.m. on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Wishes from the Magic Kingdom. As of today, Wishes is scheduled to be at 8:00 p.m. on March 3, 2012 so you may want to schedule a 7:00 p.m. dinner reservation and watch Wishes from inside the restaurant. When you arrive at the podium, request a "Fireworks view" table for better viewing. They cannot guarantee it, but they will do their best. The view of the castle from 'Ohana is simply beautiful! As always, park hours are subject to change and Wishes could possibly change as well. You may want to check back closer to your arrival date at www.disneyworld.com for updated hours. The best way to get to 'Ohana is to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom park and either take the monorail or the boat(Gold Launch) over to the Polynesian resort. Don't miss dining at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club resort during your stay.Because the prices are pretty inexpensive at this restaurant yet still require one table service credit, I would probably recommend you pay out of pocket to dine here. They also don't take advance dining reservations so try to arrive at non-peak dining hours.Don't forget to try the "Kitchen Sink!" Let us know if we can answer any other questions for you.I hope you and your family have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!:-) Jodie
