We will be arriving in February, are pools open and are they heated? Does the Grand Florian have a food court to purchase milk, snacks and juice?

Hi there, Dolores! Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for taking the time to send us your vacation question!

You’ll be happy to hear that all Walt Disney World Resort pools are heated throughout the year. All pools are kept at 82 degrees Fahrenheit regardless of season. So the pool water will definitively be suitable for swimming during your February stay! However, I would recommend researching the temperatures throughout the duration of your stay and using the warmer times as pool days. Although the water in Walt Disney World Resort pools is heated year round, the air temperature can be quite chilly during the colder months so be sure to keep this in mind when planning your trip. I've made the mistake of swimming on colder days and would highly recommend learning from my own mistakes!

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offer a variety of dining locations for your enjoyment. In addition to more exquisite table service meals, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa features the casual dining restaurant Gasparilla Island Grill. This dining location serves both quick service meals and grab-and-go options. This includes refreshments such as milk, juice, and pre-packaged snacks. During my recent stay, I enjoyed a delicious and healthy breakfast comprised of fresh, packaged strawberries and greek yogurt. Personally, I am always pleased to find healthier dining options even when on vacation!

Thanks again for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
