We will be arriving early morning GF villas 8/17. If we choose to spend day by pool until our villa is ready, is there a locker area where we can leave some belongings and change after pool. Of course this all depends on room availability. thank you..

    Hi Danny!

My family often does exactly what you are planning. We take an early flight, and spend the late morning and early afternoon enjoying the pool at our Disney Vacation Club Resort. You’ll find spacious changing areas with showers at all Deluxe Resort pool areas. To my knowledge, there are not actual locker areas to securely leave your belongings. This has never been an issue for us however, with some simple planning. I pack our swim items in my carry-on baggage, in one or two pool appropriate tote bags. When we arrive at Disney, if our room is not ready, we store our non-pool bags or anything of value with Bell Services at the front desk. Then the only items remaining are our pool items! Do know that Deluxe Resort pools offer pool towels and life vests for Guests that need them. This is a great perk for me, since it eliminates the need to pack these items.

I would also recommend using Disney’s online check-in service up to 60 days prior to your check-in date. One of the questions that you are asked is your expected arrival time. While this in no way guarantees your room will be ready, I do think it increases the chances your room will be ready earlier. I think it is always worth a try.

Wishing you a splashtastic Disney vacation, Danny. Don't forget to pack the sunscreen!
