We will be arriving very early to Animal Kingdom Lodge before we go to Magic Kingdom. Is 7:30 AM too early to check in and park and leave our luggage?

    Bruce,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

The Disney resort hotel Bell Services desks are definitely open at 7:30 am for you to check your bags before heading off to the parks! I have used that desk at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge that early in the morning before, especially on departure days to drop of my bags before getting that last park day in.

At the Animal Kingdom Lodge you will find the bell desk located in the lobby, to your left as you enter through the main doors. A quick drop off, and then you can head to the Magic Kingdom Park. Do be aware that they might be busy with helping departing guests, but the wait should not be too long.

Remember that if you use the Online Check-In service, you don't even have to stop by the front desk after dropping off your bags. Instead, you will be sent a text when your room is ready, telling you the room number at that time on your My Disney Experience App. All you need to do is gather your bags from the Bell Services desk when you get back to the hotel after all that fun in the parks!

    BONUS TIP
The same rule applies on your departure day. After you check out of your room in the morning, you can leave your bags at the Bell Services desk, and then head off to the parks for that final dose of magic. Just remember to gather them up before heading home.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
