Hi, Rick! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. While staying at Walt Disney World Resort, we fully appreciate the various transportation options provided to us as Resort Guests. While there are some instances where it may take less time overall to travel to our destination via our own car, I find it much easier and faster to use Disney bus transportation to reach Disney Springs. The
ongoing transformation of Downtown Disney to Disney Springs has led to frequent changes in traffic patterns and subsequently, extended travel times in this area.
You will find at your Resort's bus stop a dedicated line for those traveling to Disney Springs. Just hop in this line and a bus should be by momentarily. I did stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort last weekend and had to wait about 10 minutes for the next Disney Springs bus to arrive. However, I have previously had to wait almost 30 minutes for this bus. Because of the construction-related traffic delays in that area, I usually recommend that Guests plan to leave their Resort about an hour and a half before their Advance Dining Reservation. I walked through Disney Springs with some of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists while at the Resort last weekend and even though it was quite crowded, it only took us about 10 minutes to reach the
T-REX area of Disney Springs Marketplace.
I hope this information helps you while planning your visit to Disney Springs. Please stop by again if you have any further questions for us!
