    We are arriving in Disney on a Wed and staying one night in AK Lodge then transferring to Polynesian Resort for next 3 nights. Our 3-day park tickets/dine plan is aligned with Poly reservation. Do we have to check into Poly before going to parks on Thurs?

    Hello Kendall!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   Your vacation sounds fantastic, you have picked two lovely resorts to enjoy while at Walt Disney World.   I often fly in a day before my vacation package begins, and stay one night at a different Disney resort.   It allows my family time to enjoy the splashtastic resort pools, and awesome recreational activities.   

    Kendall, you will need to check in with the front desk of Disney's Polynesian Resort before heading off to play in the parks.  I suggest utilizing Disney's Online Check -In service to make it that much faster.  When you arrive at the resort you will simply need to show your ID and your welcome folder will be waiting for you.  Remember Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will be able to transfer your luggage,  it just takes a quick phone call to Bell Services. Keep in mind your luggage may not arrive until later in the afternoon, in case you want to pack a few necessary items into a backpack to keep with you.
