    We will be arriving at Disney April 13, staying at the CS resort. Trying to decide if we should get a prefered room as the resort is so large. However we don't care about being close to the food, only the bus stop! If not what room should I request?

    Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Sara!  We're glad you're hEAR!  I was fortunate to enjoy a lovely stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort myself in January!  You are going to love the beautiful Southwest-themed Disney Moderate Resort! This fabulous resort is very spacious and I do understand your concern about having a room that is in close proximity to the Disney bus stop. Preferred rooms are more expensive than other rooms as they are generally closer to the food court area, pools, and bus transportation. At Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, the preferred rooms are located in Casitas Buildings 1, 2, and 3. There are also other buildings that are not considered preferred that are also close to Disney bus transportation. Casitas 4 is close to the Casitas bus stop, Cabanas 8A and 8B are both close to the Cabanas bus stop, and Cabanas 9B has a great location in that is relatively close to El Centro (the main building including the food court, lobby, and gift shop) and the main bus stop. If you decide that you would like a Preferred Room, then I would recommend going ahead and adding that to your reservation by calling (407)W-DISNEY. Please keep in mind that you can make room requests (non-preferred); however, they are not guaranteed. Disney Cast Members do try their best to accommodate room requests and I would recommend calling Disney 4-10 days prior to your arrival and asking for "back office" or "room assignments."  I hope this helps in making your decision.
