Elizabeth,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Typically there is not a boat route that directly connects
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to either
Disney's Wilderness Lodge or the Fort Wilderness marina. But with only a small amount of added effort, you can do almost exactly what you appear to be looking for.
What you want to do is either walk, monorail, or boat from the Grand Floridian to the front of the Magic Kingdom. You do not have to enter the park, but instead from the dock right there in front of the park entrance you can catch the boat that will take you to both Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge.
The monorail ride from the Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom should take no more than about 10 minutes. The boat from there to the park may be a bit longer, but it can be a rather scenic and enjoyable voyage. The following boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to the Wilderness Lodge and the Fort Wilderness marina is about a 10 to 15-minute ride. Since it makes stops at both you may be on for a bit longer.
Oh, and no, you do not have to make a reservation or anything like that. Just queue up and wait for your magical cruise to the great American West!
BONUS TIPIf time allows, when you are visiting the Wilderness Lodge, grab a drink and a snack at
Geyser Point Bar & Grill. This lakeside, open air lounge gives you great views of Bay Lake, and a lovely, relaxed break from your resort tours.
