    Hi, arriving 3-7-09/dinner at 8:00 chef mickeys. Would we be able to see the fireworks at 8:00 from here? Thanks for all the great info. Denise

    Denise,

    Sorry, but no. You can't really see the fireworks from anywhere within the Contemporary Resort lobby, especially Chef Mickey's, as it sits below the window line. You really are only a quick walk away from the park, so if there was a way to bump your reservation to later, that might work.

    Otherwise, consider watching from the entryway to the resort. By this I mean the entry where cars drop people off. It faces west, towards the Seven Seas Lagoon, and you might be able to catch them there. This entry is a floor below the floor that Chef Mickey's is on, so don't count on watching there while you wait to have your table called. But if you want one parent to go out with kids while another waits, you might be able to make that work. With cell phones the one waiting could call the other when the table was ready so that you were all up there promptly.
