    Arriving in 10 days!!Staying in ALM. Can checking inline staring today. Did not pay for preferred room yet. How much closer preferred rooms to the bus stop? Is that worth paying for? And can I pay at the time of checking in or should I call the resort?

    Hi, Nadejda!  There are bus stops located throughout the resorts, so some resorts have multiple locations.  A preferred room won't make much of a difference.  

    You will find, however, that in most cases the preferred rooms will give you closer access to the main pools and the main building at your resort, where you'll find your food court, taxi service, and the front desk.  If that's something that will be a big consideration in making your vacation successful, you may want to upgrade to a preferred room.

    If you know for sure you want a preferred room, I would contact reservations and check availability.  You may find when you check in that there are preferred rooms available, but you run the risk of there not being one available.  If you're definitely sure you want one, book it ahead of time.
