We will be arriving on 9/15/18 and I can't wait. My question is we are traveling with our daughter and her family and we will be eating dinners together. We do not have dining plans - will the restaurants be able to issue separate checks?

Hey there, Linda! I love big family trips, and I'm so excited for you to share this adventure with your daughter and her family.

I have enjoyed almost every single restaurant at Walt Disney World, and any of the restaurants that I've been able to experience will either give you separate checks or split a check in several ways. On a recent trip with friends, we were able to give three different credit cards to split one check among all of us. They really are very good with this type of accommodation.

If anyone opts into a Disney Dining Plan, you'll have to get separate checks. This makes it so they can calculate dining plan credits separately from the cash payments.

If you're looking for a really awesome family dining experience, there is one we just tried recently. On Sunday evenings at Enzo's Hideaway, they do a family style Italian dinner. It's a fixed price meal, and you'll get a traditional Sunday gravy, with meatballs, sausage, and boneless ribs, plus all the trimmings of a big Sunday family dinner, It was fantastic, fun, and a great way to reunite the whole family after a day of everyone scattering to different attractions.

Wishing you an absolutely magical family vacation!
