Arriving 12/19 - 01/02, and I booked my trip online. I've been told that I made a mistake in not telephoning Disney, as I might have got better pricing. Is that true? Should I call and see if I get different pricing by talking to someone?

At some times during the year, there are discounts for Disney rooms that can be had. Sources of these discounts could be annual passholder rates, bounce back offers, AAA rates, discount codes found on mousesavers.com, etc. However, your travel dates are during Disney's most popular holiday season. This is when the hotel rates are at their highest, as is Disney hotel occupancy. You are very unlikely to find discounts for these two weeks. It certainly never hurts to call and ask, but I would be surprised if you were able to find a cheaper rate.
