    Hello, we are arriving aug 22 for our visit!! the boys are 10 and 13..we have no idea what restaurants would appeal to them? they are not interested in character dining, but i want to book some neat restaurants/dinner show..any ideas?

    Hello to a fellow Ontarian Susan! As much as we love character dining, we also have several non-character favourites that offer yummy food and a fun dining experience. Here are a few:

    - We go to Raglan Road Pub at Downtown Disney every time. It's a fun Irish pub that offers a more varied kids menu, and has Irish music and dancers.
    - Ohana at the Polynesian has fun activities for kids of all ages during dinner time, including hula lessons and coconut races through the restaurant. And the bread pudding is the best dessert ever!
    - There are many options at Epcot: the Biergarten (Germany) has a buffet and an OomPapa band; the chefs at Teppan Edo (Japan) create your meal before your eyes; and if they are adventurous eaters, there is belly dancing to accompany traditional Moroccan food in Morocco.
    - Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge) is my daughter's favourite. The atmosphere and the food make it one of our must dos each trip. Be sure your kids ask for ketchup!
    - Your boys might also enjoy a dinner show such as the Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian resort or the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review at Fort Wilderness campground.
