We will be arriving at the ASMR on January 19 and we want to do a Character breakfast with Mickey, what is the better option Chef Mickey or the Tusker house? also do you know what the cost would be so we can prepare? Thank you!

We like both! The food at both venues is good, and fairly comparable. Both have fun for kids, like dancing or napkin-waving celebrations. And both feature lots of characters for special photos.

Since you already know Mickey will be at both venues, I think I would base my decision on what other characters I was interested in seeing. For my kiddos, Daisy Duck is a big hit, and she can only be found at Tusker House.

If you're more interested in the 'Fab Five', you might prefer to visit Chef Mickey's, where they will be found in classic attire. The characters at Tusker House are dressed in safari gear.

Current pricing as of October 2012:

    Tusker House breakfast, $26.62/adult, $14.90/child
    Chef Mickey's breakfast, $30.88/adult, $17.03/child

Those prices do include tax, but do not include the 18% gratuity.

I think you will be happy with either restaurant!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
